The Research Team leads the planning and execution of the Bystander Leadership Program, an evidence-based behavioral intervention program that is intended to develop a social system at FIU that supports and institutionalizes positive change among tenure-line faculty in three key areas:
- Demonstrating greater appreciation for diversity and a reduction in prejudicial attitudes
- Greater knowledge of and confidence in using prosocial intervention skills and strategies
- Increasing diversity-affirming behaviors
